I can’t help but be excited about the views from this house!  This is actually my own house and I know the views, every season of the year.  We completed our construction in Manson and are now selling this home.  But,  I loved waking up in the morning to the sun flooding across Chelan Butte, the shadows streaming back from the trees and valleys as the sun rises are spectacular!  Check out the panorama below (click on any picture for a larger, high resolution version):

Besides the views, this is a great place to live!  First, the neighborhood is super.  This area, just outside the Chelan City limits, has homes of larger lots with most being over 1 acre.  It only takes me about 15 minutes to walk my dog downtown where I grab a cup of coffee.  From there I walk the trails around Riverfront Park, visit with the locals in town and get the exercise both me and my dog need.

Plus, I could see everything going on!  I can see how busy the lake is, the fireworks downtown, the baseball game or how long the line is on metal recycling day!  But, that is all off at a comfortable distance and just far enough away.  The back yard has three levels.  An upper level at the height of the garage, a lower level that walks right into the bright, daylight basement, and an area below that that is not landscaped (but is a great place to throw the frisbee or play ball).

Finally, the Chelan Public Utility District is making improvements to the Chelan Dam that will create year round flow back in the Chelan River, so the water frontage of this property should enjoy the sounds of the flowing river all the time.

The house itself is super comfortable as well.  It has TONS of storage.  There is an outside storage shed, two unfinished storage rooms downstairs (one I used to a workout room), under stair storage, a host of closets and an oversized garage!  Certainly my family, and we have stuff, fit nicely in this home.

The Kitchen

The kitchen works great!  It has the super view, all the amenities including a trash compactor, downdraft stove and range and is situated for entertaining on either the huge deck or the dining area.

The house has 4 bedrooms, with a master that readily accepts a king sized bed with double closets and bathroom, 2 additional bedrooms upstairs with a full bathroom and a large, fourth bedroom downstairs next to a 3/4 bath.  The living room flows right off the dining area and allows for entertaining or good family time.  It has clestory windows and vaulted ceilings that keep it light and bright year round.

The downstairs is a huge open area, carpeted with the bedroom and bathroom located on the end opposite the stairs.  It is versatile and can be a game area, office, family room or all of those!

This home is located on a .75 acre lot, parcel number 272318607025, and is 2368 square feet (finished with another approximately 474 s.f. easily finished in the basement) according to the county records.  It has a heat pump that provides both air-conditioning and heating and is connected to City of Chelan water and sewer.

Here is a link to a map of the property.  The full address is 6 Riverview Cemetary Road.  The county did change the address of the parcel to 8 Riverview Road when I completed a short plat last year, however everyone who knows the property still thinks of it as 6 Riverview Cemetary Road.
